The longer way home
A familiar road feels different on foot. A gate left open, leaves moving overhead, the last warmth of the sun on a wall. There is usually something to see.
A personal journal
Following the light, taking the long way home, and making a little room for the things in between.
A few recent notesAn unhurried collection. Always growing.
From the journal
Little observations.
No particular hurry.
A familiar road feels different on foot. A gate left open, leaves moving overhead, the last warmth of the sun on a wall. There is usually something to see.
The kettle comes to a quiet stop. A cup by the window, a book still open from last night. For a few minutes, the morning belongs to nobody in particular.
Some days are better without a list. A small walk becomes an afternoon; a passing thought finds its way onto a page. Enough, just as it is.

Collected moments
Water without a ripple. Mountains fading into the sky. A reminder to look up from whatever seemed so urgent a moment ago.
A note about this placeHello, this is Ontose
A place for quiet thoughts, open landscapes, and the details that make an ordinary day feel like its own.
This journal follows curiosity rather than a calendar. Come by from time to time. There may be a new note, a different view, or just a little space to breathe.
